Vítor Eduardo teaches programming with Stencyl. Known as “Luyren” in the community, he has continuously used Stencyl since its closed beta test in 2009. Focused on recreating game mechanics of 2D games from the 16 and 32-bit era, he has created several Stencyl resources available to the public, providing customizable and ready-to-use code, enabling more people to create games. He also has a video series explaining specific or advanced Stencyl concepts, as well as tutorials on the resources he has created. He has a Master's Degree in Music Performance in Violin, has performed as a violinist in orchestras in the USA and Brazil, and taught music to kids and teenagers at the South Georgia String Project, showing that game development is accessible to people of any age, from any background.</span>
Lawrence Decamora teaches Java and other open-source programming languages. He has been a university instructor for 20 years while working with various industries, both in the public and in the private sectors as an IT Consultant. He also worked for 5 years as a Java trainer for Sun Microsystems, the original creators of Java Technology. He has authored a book on Java and designed various courses and curricula around this technology. Lawrence is an Oracle Certified Java Programmer and a Sun Certified Java Programmer. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, a Master’s Degree in Education, and is currently pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Education Management.
Kelechi C. Emenike
Kelechi Emenike teaches Introduction to Python programming. Kelechi demonstrates exceptional teaching and presentation skills. He has a degree in Business Administration and Engineering. He has developed the capacity to build trusting relationships, motivate and encourage collaboration, and has proven to be a valuable asset to many projects. Kelechi is skilled with project-based learning and training that satisfies the needs of any student. His energetic, engaging, and learner-focused approach has proven to not only help students improve their knowledge levels, but also enhanced their willingness and ability to apply their earned knowledge in real-life scenarios
